What is NORWEX? How does Norwex work? How do I use Norwex products? What makes Norwex different? Where should I start with Norwex? Those were all my same questions in the Spring of 2021. Yes it was all new to me. Norwex is a line of cleaning and personal care products that improve your quality of life by helping radically reduce chemicals in your home. The Norwex “clean without chemicals” was birthed in Norway in 1994 and by the spring of 1999 it had expanded to Canada and the United States. Norwex has 3 core company values: Integrity, Trust and Respect.

If you are new to Norwex, the top 5 products in a bundle pack are the absolute best way to start. I didn't and ended up paying more because I added them one at a time over a couple of months. Using the Top 5 Norwex products will absolutely TRANSFORM your home! Meet the Norwex Safe Haven 5! (More about the science of Norwex, the why, and the how Norwex products work so well will be covered later!)Norwex EnviroCloth This is your “Everything Cloth” that you’ll use to clean virtually every surface in your home with JUST WATER! Run it under warm water and wring it out. With Norwex, you are mechanically cleaning instead of chemically cleaning! Fold the cloth and start cleaning & wiping down virtually every surface! Counters, tables, door handles, remote controls, bathrooms… even try getting out a carpet stain with this cloth and WATER. Just squirt with a spray bottle and gently massage the stain out. I’m not joking! It makes cleaning so EASY! When it gets dirty, run it under hot water, scrubbing the fibers against themselves. Wring out tightly and continue cleaning or hang to dry.

I HATED DUSTING! Now, with the Norwex Dusting Mitt This plush microfiber mitt is unlike any other duster you’ve tried. Simply put it on and dust. Rub your hand across it to "charge" it/make it have static. Use a light hand because the natural static cling of the fibers will attract the dust into the mitt. Remember to NOT use fabric softener or dryer sheets on your Norwex microfiber as it will coat the silver and take away the necessary static charge. You’ll appreciate that you don’t have to dust as often when you’re no longer leaving behind dusting spray residues.
Norwex Laundry Detergent (powder) Not only is this laundry detergent the best way to care for your Norwex Cloths, it is great for allergies. When my boys were little we had to use Dreft then All clean and clear due to our allergies and asthma, now Norwex detergent works great. It is very concentrated and one bag will last you a long time! Also, it makes a great all-purpose cleaner. Use 1 teaspoon of detergent to 8 ounces of distilled water in a spray bottle. Now you have a way to spray surfaces that may need a little extra help coming clean.
Norwex Cleaning Paste Every once in a while you have that extra difficult cleaning problem that needs a bit more “elbow grease”. Like for those baked on, caked on, burned on goodness around your burners on your stove top! That’s where the Norwex Cleaning Paste comes in. A little goes a long way, so this canister will last you a long time. It is a dry powder than when you use a damp Envirocloth or damp SpiriSponge it works GREAT! It is fantastic to clean my gas stove top. We have very hard water so the SpiriSponge and diluted Descaler is a great on hard jobs! The SpiriSponge/Descaler combo is also super for showers, faucets, sinks and tubs! Do not use on descaler on natural stone, such as granite, marble or terrazzo; painted surfaces; metallic glazed surfaces; cast iron; copper or unsealed grouted areas as the natural acids may damage the surface.
Now that we have covered all the great products you will get in the Safe Have 5, let's talk cloth care for just a minute. After you have all these wonderful products, you don't want to ruin them with retail laundry detergents, bleach and fabric softeners. Be sure to P.A.R. wash them after each use and let them hang over night until completely dry. Then deep clean them as needed in the washing machine. I like to put all my small cloths in a mesh/lingerie bag and make 1 load of all by Norwex cleaning products once a week. You can even use the face and body cloths, makeup removal cloths, and bath towels multiple times before washing them! Below you will find several videos of cleaning with Norwex Products. What makes Norwex microfiber cloths so different? Standard microfiber has to be at least 1/6th the size of a human hair. Think about plucking a hair & giving yourself 6 split ends. Pretty small, right. BUT… Norwex microfiber is guaranteed to be AT LEAST AS SMALL as 1/200th the size of a human hair! Now we’re talking over *200* split-ends on one hair! That’s pure craziness and super important if you’re going to trust these cloths to truly clean your home with JUST WATER!
I don’t know about you, but FREE certainly works very well in my budget!! Norwex is VERY generous in thanking and rewarding their hosts who share Norwex with and do an online party!
